Description In the breweries own words. 440ML CAN The Spirit of Kent celebrates the Kent Spitfire, a Mark IX Spitfire housed at the Biggin Hill Heritage Hangar 5 miles north of Westerham. The Spirit of Kent also recalls the “XXX Modification Depth Charges” that flew out of Biggin Hill in June 1944 filled with Westerham Ales. Most of the hops are picked and dried at the National Trust’s only hop garden in Lamberhurst, Kent by Ian Strang. Ian is one a dwindling number of noble hop growers left in Kent.
