A little bit about me
Hi, I’m Sabine. I was born and raised in the Netherlands, but moved to the USA in 2013. Believe me when I say that I definitely still have some Dutch traits in me. And there’s the Dutch accent of course. Sometimes all it takes is just one word and people will ask me where I’m from. It’s funny how that goes.
The beginning of Dazzling Daisies
The idea of opening my own web shop began when my husband and I were still living in the Netherlands. I loved the idea of doing it all on my own, being independent. But most of all designing and creating items I love and that I truly stand behind. (And hopefully you’ll love them as much I do).
So within 6 months after we made the big move, I opened my Etsy shop. The shop pretty much took off immediately and I had not seen that coming! But up to this day I am still so grateful that the designs I create will be a part of your special life event or your everyday life.
Due to the growing demand, it was time to launch canaldeportivo.es.
Our own website where the Dazzling Daisies style really comes to life. Not only in the products itself, but also in the look and feel of the whole website. A clean design and soft colors that invite you to explore!
Design philosophy
I believe in less is more. Simplicity and elegance are the most important keywords for my designs. It’s what I stand for. A simple design can often make a much bigger impression. Pairing different fonts in a way that creates harmony and a balanced design is what I love. Of course you’ll find designs that are bolder and a little more out there, but it all started with clean and simple.
